Supercell have said more than once that they're not going to do it

First of all, where have they said this is ruled out? I have not seen it.

Second, I personally don't care if something is ruled out. *WE* are customers and Super Cell should be forced to at least listen to their customers complaints. If they don't want to do something that's their prerogative, But we should be able to shout as loud and long as we want about what we want as customers.

Frankly, if Super Cell continues to not enable this it just shows a level greed with their leadership. Its clear the vast majority of their customers want this and there is no technological reason to not allow this. In fact, there is a much bigger argument to be made that it is asinine to prohibit this. The lack of ability to use heros in war inhibits a large portion of their customer base to not even play the most important part of their game. What sane company puts a feature in their own product that inhibits large portions of customers from using the product? Oh yeah, greed.

Yes in fact their is 256K views on this post and growing daily. So its pretty obvious that people are interested in being able to war proper with heroes.

Some people have gone to suggest a replacement instead of a hero, such as extra space troop capacity. Or at least gem the hero for that war attack.

lower war weight if your hero is down.

Or play with a low hero instead of the one you have.

Not all views or posts in this thread are from those in favour of heroes in war though. Quite a few people will be checking to see if anything new has been posted that could potentially lead SC to damage the time and resource management portion of the game, which is what allowing heroes in war would do.

If you could do this for free they'd add gem costs somewhere else to play, and this is a fair enough place for gem costs to be.
No one is forcing you to gem your heroes, I sure never did.

I have been farming for 3 months straight now with heroes, got from 22/20 to 23/31 now. I haven't warred in 3 months pretty much. I would like if they would change this, but the truth is that they won't. Companies need money. Whether or not it means annoying some customers, they still need to make money. It is great for us, horrible for them, and since they are in charge, it just won't happen I'm afraid.

I get supercell just wants the money, but really the hero upgrade system makes no sense from a game aspect. How is a builder upgrading a hero in the first place?! Sure to initially place the hero stand I might accept a builder for first purchase of hero; but after that it's only logical that hero upgrades should be done through the lab (maybe as a secondary feature 1 troop upgrade and 1 hero upgrade at a time). Supercell clearly more interested in money than game logic. Basically they would have you believe the heros are really just androids 😑
