It will never happen unfortunately. Supercell would lose TONS of money on people gemming them to finish in time for war. It's all about the money. They don't care and that is why they will never even mention this as a possibility.

Stop saying they won't do it. Maybe they aren't as greedy as you think and will fix this. I spend money on gems to quicken defenses and troops upgrades. They will still make hundreds and millions of dollars, trust me. It makes no sense why heroes are awake for war defense but not war attacks. Come on SC. Really?
