Because it's a terrible idea and this needs to be locked up its been a year.

I can't wait for three posts later where you declare that you have "already established that it's a terrible idea".

This keeps clans from getting to level 10 too fast. It would be nice but if this is implemented clan xp would have to be reduced. Also there would have to be more clan levels (some are already at level 7).

Either let us use them in war or cap upgrade to 2 days instead of 7 days

I agree with andrgin. Heroes should always be available when upgrading just like regular troops. They are even more vital in war
