    Just thought of another very clean possibility: use the availability of heroes as a factor in the war matchmaking. Something like "if hero X not available for 48 or more hours, then total player weight in the matchmaking is decreased by Y".

    Come on SC, the possibilities are endless, make us happy!

    I understand that it may be difficult for SC to code this, but it really gets me frustrated to see other new features added to the game when what they should be focusing on is fixing what they already got!

    In other words, put this at first priority! Don't add new buildings, troop levels, and defenses until you've fixed the most fundamental, important features of the game!

    absolutely. The war should be between the best of the clans at their current state to make it more fun. Singling out upgrades is annoying, especially for those who war frequent. If you have defences and heroes that takes days at a time to upgrade, does that mean we should never war? or never upgrade? the game would suck if we ended up having to choose either one. So a defs sign from me!

    i agree but i think the heroes should be like the other upgrading buildings during war. EX: king and queen that are upgrading will resume the lvl before the upgrade. if heroes are upgraded before prep day has ended then and only then will the hero have the next lvl in war. just like buildings that are upgrading during war do

    This would create a trend of 8.25 or 9.25 bases, keeping heroes looking like they're upgrading for the match up then canceling update for the war.

    I could see people keeping their heroes indefinitely at 39 in order to take advantage of this mechanic if implemented.
