    Forgive me for not reading through 143 pages of signatures, but has a Supercell representative commented on this yet? Being told "no, we're not going to do this" is better than not commenting at all.

    Officially they have indicated that it is hard to code, but they haven't indicated whether they are working on it or not either.

    Personally I think they aren't really working on it because they lose a significant amount of revenue by people using gems to end the upgrade sooner. The best thing we could do is have a no buy gems month/months - perhaps then they will listen more - but that's just the cynic in me talking.

    It's true they will end up on losing revenue, but they should atleast keep the game balanced. When heroes can defend a village while upgrading on battle day in a war, why not attack?? If they were so concerned about revenue, they wouldn't have brought down the healing time of heroes.
    Symmetry is logical!
    We need our heroes in clan wars, period.

    agreed

    they should definitely let heroes be used in clan wars. I have a pile of gems that I save for getting backed up.

    I hate sitting on 80k+ DE when i'm waiting for an upgrade to finish to start a new one (whether its a lab or hero) and pushing an upgrade to get the next one started is really the only spending I do.

    From talking to my friends that play they seem to do the same.

    Clan wars will not be truly balanced until this is fixed, it is pretty much game breaking for a lot of players. I'd prefer to believe this isn't changed yet because of laziness or technical difficulties rather than greed, and I hope they manage to change it.

    A few would obviously but the majority wouldn't..

    Spell factory and heroes are completely different. To take TH 9 for an example as this is where the issue of heroes becomes so important, to max the spell factory you need to be either sit out of wars or be weak in them for 5 days, a couple of wars.

    For each hero you would lose out on 135 days, up to 67 wars.

    This is the minimum time you lose, and will be more depending on how you go about upgrading each hero.

    I haven't heard anybody complain about the spell factory although I'm sure some do, but most consider it reasonable and despite that I know people who have gemmed it. The time for heroes is just an unacceptable loss of balanced competitive game time.
