[PETITION] Make Heroes Usable in Clan Wars... While Upgrading.

My clan is going through some bad struggles with deciding to war with TH10s that are upgrading a hero. It's hard enough to compete with these Asian clans who always seem to get 3 stars with a higher frequency. We get matched with clans that have double or triple the amount of maxed towns and maxed heroes(same amount of overall th9&10). So we need all the help we can get. Take out people who are upgrading heroes and some people might never get to war!

This is not possible. Your CW base is just a "reflection" of your real base. The hero's can be on defense while upgrading in your real base because they are different. Your attacks come from your real base though. That means they would have to somehow make the heros finish upgrading for a short time while you attack. That is simply far too complicated to work. The only other option is to have attacks come from your CW base. That would also be complicated because you would need to have another set of baraks and spell factories running on the same store of resources as your real base is. Supercell won't do it not because they are lazy but because it is too impractical to work.

Well, I think your post shows well that you have no clue how programming works. There is undoubtedly some parameter or property somewhere indicating whether your King is active (healed) or not determining whether you can take it into battle, as well as whether or not it is upgrading.

It would be a very quick override to say that if you own a King, that parameter is irrelevant, thus meaning your King is always with you. From a programming standpoint, depending on the architecture of the game and how well it is coded, this would be a very easy thing to implement.

Get your heroes done at th9 kids. While you can still war without them.
