For the rankings of clan members, I think the rankings should be done by xp instead of trophies. People have different goals with regard to trophies and leagues. Xp is a better indicator of player rankings within a clan.

XP does not determin how strong a person's base is.
XP level can differ between players.
For someone with a very high number of donation, their level will be significantly higher compared to another who doesn't donate at all.
League is a good indication of a person's skill level.
If someone is at a specific range of trophies. It will show how strong or patient someone can be.
This also sets a tempo for some players to hunt for more trophies and make the game over all more competitive.

Troop donations honestly don't give you that much xp. Xp really comes from completing achievements and upgrading your base. Sure there are times when lesser bases get lots of xp from donating, but in general someone with a high rank is gonna have a better base.

Or, perhaps allow the clan leader and option to arrange his clan members by trophies or xp
Troops donating don't give u that much XP? You get 1 XP for 1 troop capacity donated... I got 17'000 troop donations yet! That are 17'000 XP and this is quite much!
