Actually, I did change my farm name to 'go away gingerbread man' over a week ago. In fact, I change my farm name quite frequently, ( the previous name was 'my foxes hate sugarboats') so if either of those sound familiar it might give some idea to how old this ad was! Oh, and what name do you use, as I've been writing down the names of buyers I don't recognise to check if I find them near me on the leader board or they become followers?

Sorry to take so long to get back to you, have just been getting up to date with the thread. My shop and GC name is Kittencaboodle! But to you I assume I would still be a nameless avatar. I might show up in people's last helpers as I do a lot of tree watering. The farm name is Worthy Farm, but I did change it to Fawlty Towers yesterday! Oh there must be another player with the same GC name as I had to add the ! mark.* Just for the record my player stats are what would seem to be absolutely normal. Level 25 Deliveries 41. Visits 224 Shop Rev 9935 followers 1. Not on Facebook. Hope that's some help.

* Senior moment: of course it's just GC registration, they probably are not playing Hay Day.

A few minutes ago I checked the DD and found an ad selling a very interesting duct tape for only 75 coins ("afnan", bottom right):

I rushed to the shop and of course found nothing there, but just out of curiosity I checked this farm's stats and found this:

I find it hard to believe that a level 7 player can already have 301 followers and 41400 visits in one day, but it is just impossible that he has had no revenue at all *ever*. What happened to those 7 truck deliveries in one day, then? They produced no money for this poor player?

I don't know what is happening here. Maybe SC is experimenting with fake farms so we can have more covetable items in the DD... But if that is the case, well, I wish those fake farms sold these things more often, especially land deeds...

I just saw those duct tapes advertised in the DD again. Didn't think to take a screenshot of the newspaper, but took a screenshot of the farm stats, and now I don't have time to figure out how to post it, sorry. But, anyway, their revenu is still at 0, their follower count is now at 478.

Thanks for the info, and your name didn't show up, unless it was one with no name, but with a photo. Have you got a personalised avatar on your GC? I think you said you didn't. It doesn't have to be a photo - mine's just a screenshot of my new penny farthing! ( though I do have my photo on my Facebook login)
