No it doesn't explain. If you are consistently playing and getting points, people who have posted above shouldn't be getting followers who are just starting the leaderboard at level 25.
The jumping around is constant movement by small point differences, alwayseople close to your number of points. The followers at level 25 can't have the same number of points as someone like aristo who is level 49 and does boats consistently. That's 25 levels of boats. Unless she does one boat per level, she shouldn't be seen by the level 25 players.

What is going on now? This is a serious bug and we have had no response for days. Can one of you at least have the courtesy to update us on your findings.....assuming you are actually looking into this?
Why do you feel it is acceptable to treat players like this? What's the point in having a forum with numerous boards asking for ideas, feedback and to report issues, for them to be ignored and dismissed?

We are still investigating this. :/ Unfortunately I don't have any news about it yet, other than that our server guys are looking into it and testing various changes to see how it affects the newspaper (internally). Stay tuned.

I'm sorry I really don't like it when people say we are whining when the forum is created for us to give our thoughts and opinions.
It is natural negative opinions will be voiced more.
Plus, most of the posts on here are actually players giving their feedback to this shop advertisement problem. I have never said this game sucks, but it definitely have these faults we are voicing.

These people are not whining. We used to love this game! Since the last update there is a serious problem which is not being addressed. The answer is always to blame us for letting others use our devices or giving out our passwords. There are no children in my home. My husband and I are both seniors. We are responsible adults who are asking for help. I don't appreciate being treated like an irresponsible child when responding to the developers request to submit issues.
I need a one word yes or no. Are all items in the store automatically added to the newspaper whether we click to advertise or not? It's that simple! If the answer is no then please pay attention to all the reports! Instead of blaming us try to accept that we want this game to do well and are trying to tell you something is wrong! So far we're being ignored or worse demeaned.
