New Newspaper - unwanted customers

I described this problem to my son who is a gamer but doesn't play HD. He said that it could be the game developers are actually the ones who are acting as the gingerbread man and they are doing this to create an artificial demand for rare items and therefore spend money to purchase them. That could explain why there has been no communication in days. ♥♥♥♥♥♥cell remains unconcerned about player issues, have no vested interest in fixing the problem, and most likely are engaged in malicious practices in order to increase profit. This theory may be a bit far fetched but it is really suspicious that the mods were trying to keep communication open when we all first noticed the problem and have been noticeably absent in the days following their promise to checking into the issue. Once the devs clued them in to the scheme they were forced to remain quiet.
Of course it could also be that there is something wrong with the code after they changed the newspaper but they just won't admit it.

Personally, the more I test it the more convinced I am that it's a sort of Tom heck. Sometimes it's a real person, but they'll only buy one item, regardless of the other, and sometimes better, items. The other hecks may get you diamonds and coins but those two items won't help you much in expansion goodies. A Tom that's been hecked to look for expansion items would be the solution, he gets what you ask for, and only what you ask for, leaving everything else behind.

I've put better items in my shop at a lesser quantity and they're still there. Most likely because those using the heck are looking for higher quantity.

Just went to check my farm, and only a friend has purchased two of those items, the rest remain.

I also have a fb friend who plays, it appears to be often a matter of too much to load on a slower connection that determines whether or not avatars appear.

Swisspie,right after you helped my boat ( thanks so much ), I checked my stall if you bought something when I opened my stall immediately a nameless gingerbread got everything, did you even see the exclamation mark at my stall I wonder?, did it right after the boat and you where there very quick.....

No, did you sell after you sent the boat? Cos I left your farm to get more milk for the last crate... Maybe it was then that you sold stuff? Every time I went back to check after the stall was empty... I checked a few times and I thought you probably weren't selling...

For me, they were gingerbread men in the shop but had names on my last helpers bar. I must say however that I did not wait very long in the shop, the names may have popped up if I had done so. If it happens again I'll pay much closer attention. (I am almost always connected only to GC.)

I can confirm that I saw a stranger's name in my shop today while not connected to FB and only GC... Though it was only one person. This may be just a one time thing but I checked followers and he definitely wasn't one of them...

I am betting your son is on to something. Just don't tell me he is five and figured it out. LOL.

its more than obvious that SC is either IN on this, or have just abandoned the game to walk away with the money they made with the game. No input from them other than they are SLEEPING but will investigate. The MODS are answering posts on other threads....but on this thread they are NO SHOW.

Now is the time for your son to start working on a farm game that actually WORKS....and he will be a millionaire who can by his mom an island in the carribean. Don't forget to invite use for a holiday. :-)

no when I put the crates open for help, I filled my shop, it was filled, I looked at the boat and you filled the crates, then I went back to the shop to check if you have been able to buy some cakes, pies, icecream or barnstuff and then at that same moment it all got taken.... And as I answered in my latest helpers bar a name showed, someone I do not know...well, put something in my stall now, lets see...

when I went to the farm as I saw your help flag, I passed the shop but there was nothing in there, before I filled the crates...

Edit: got some stuff now! Lol want me to give it back? No one stealing it seems.... Very strange...
Maybe next time wait a while after your boat is sent and then put up stuff? If your followers saw the flag first they may have gotten the shop stuff first and didnt bother to look at the boat.

Ha swisspie, saw ypu where there so put some nice stuff in , I notice it even happens with stuff from the silo, like coffeebeans and cacao, you where there and the nameless person too!
