In my case, whenever I put up expansion items, without advertising ofc, in the first tray in either the upper or lower rows of the roadside shop, it stays put until a neighbor pops in to buy the same. Any other tray and it's gone within the first five seconds. I think someone posted something similar in this thread sometime back......can't seem to find it (too impatient).

Maybe because the other ha.cks kicks you out the game I heard. They just take your money if you give them your details.this may be a new one... Though I haven't seen anything by googling buying tools from HD....

Maybe so, I'm not in the know about these things tbh. BUT I was under the impression that any sort of ha.ck would be detectable because anything like that would cause some kind of mis-match in data when connecting to the server, or updating. If that's the case then hac.king for items only is kinda dumb - SC ain't gonna go..'aww well it wasn't diamonds so let's not ban this player'...well maybe they would lol, but I can't see it myself
I mean EVERYONE wants more barn space...seeing as we're all scared to put anything in our stalls atm hehe, but losing your HD account (and probs compromising your FB/GC account) for a few duct tape is pretty numb-headed

I've decided with the exception of my mom and hubby and a couple of friends who genuinely help me the others are leaches anyway so I don't care anymore if random people get my stuff because its advertised when I don't intend it to be. Maybe they are more deserving of help than the ones I have been thinking of as friends and helpers. I had to stop selling land expansion items for low prices 2 weeks ago because one "friend" who had completed her expansions was buying them to resell at max price, so my effort to help the level 22 players still struggling with coins was ruined. Had 2 friends today open all the cream boxes on their boats. One yesterday I actually filled all his brown sugar boxes because I had a huge stock of it for some reason, but upon thinking about it I doubt any of them would do the same for me. I'm just not going to let this bother me. I have reduced the instances where I will sell nice cakes jams ice creams juices etc and the rest of the stuff is extras anyway so whoever needs them is welcome to them. I hope SC fixes this soon so all of you posting here will be happy playing again, but for me I am just going to continue to enjoy hay day and be grateful when I farm barn and silo expansion items by harvesting tons of crops and selling them cheap I don't have to stop and wait for ads anymore.

Lucky you! I was excited to try this so I listed saws in the top and bottom of the first trays. Boom - potato head snatched them up in 3 seconds.
I have noticed the later at night I list things the more likely they are to stay put. Could be in my head though.
I've almost had it! i deliberately planned with a fren to sell him tools, the plan is i will fill some random trays with crops for one round, after 20mins i go in again and some were bought, 2nd round i told my fren i will fill 3 random trays with crops and the 4th item i sell will be some bolts i'm selling him at the last 4th tray and shiat happened again!, it was blardy stolen from me again! within 3seconds! before some random player (with avatar but neither my frens nor followers) bought the other crops beside it right after!
TAKE NOTE SC, my friend is ALREADY in my shop during my round 2 of filling the trays.
don't gimme the ♥♥ dat its some player dat i've helped before, i didn't help a ghost ya.

Heyday I love your cute sheep/lamb and I loved your shopIt is a shame I have to stop selling in my shop, tried it 10 times in a row today, no familiar avatar, friend or follower, just the shameless, faceless, nameless whoever....sad please fix this problem.
If you were considering to explore shop raiding, this is obviously not a desired feature...
