I agree with you, and since then we've reevaluated and found this to be more a more widespread issue than originally thought. We're not perfect, and I'm glad there are invested players around like you to keep me accountable. =D

Thank you for this reply. My thieves have avatars that I have never seen before. I am looking forward to it being fixed so that I can continue to help my neighbours by selling low priced goods. I do have a concern about the new newspaper. I used to be able to fill popcorn boats and bread boats by searching through the newspaper for the required amounts. Since the newspaper changed. I have been unable to find enough so I have had to send endless boats away.

We thought we had a simple work around/explanation earlier today but it doesn't appear to be working. Please be patient as we try to figure out how we can identify and fix this for you guys.

I agree with u on the paper issue too, I can't find anything I need in the paper anymore....neighbours have stopped selling due to the bug and as the game is so boring now I don't come on as often as I used to, to keep restocking goods, so some of my boats are sailing into the sunset empty. Really hope they change the paper back when they fix this issue.

I often feel like I see ads in the newspaper, that I have seen before. With exactly the same product, price and farm. Even if the product were bought last time the ad showed up. Even if I feel like I'm the first visitor, shop is already empty. Of course it could be a mistake to think that, but at least I used to see the product before and get a message that it was already bought.

I think this is happening to me too, that even if I don't advertise - I get a picture in the newspaper (?). I have very few followers, most of them are so low level that they can't buy my products and the other part is not active. It is not likely that I have a lb-stalker in my shop every single time I put up new stuff for sale, because I am not on the toplist.

Either it is some kind of bug, or in worst scenario it is SC trying to make it more difficult to trade stuff. I don't think SC really like the idea of trading stuff (?) and they would try to make it more difficult so that you have to buy diamonds in order to get what you need. I am not sure I am right, but I wouldn't doubt it if I was. I am really sorry (!!!) if it is rude to suggest that, but I can't help but think it. I have not heard from SC yet that this is a bug they are working on to repair. Does anyone know?
edit: read earlier in the thread answers from supercell that this was something they tried to fix. So I am sorry. But still I think it is weird.

Not sure I understand you correct.. It would affect trading because right after you put items in your shop, it is strangers there. Lately lots of strangers buy the 1 wheat for example. Like, who cares to buy one wheat? I don't know. I don't want to think this is on purpose, I just think it is a really weird bug kinda.. Do not want to accuse anyone, really, I mean it. But it must affect trading, lately many I have traded with warned me that they have had trades stolen by strangers lately.

Please, please revert your code to the old newspaper interface. I'm really sick of putting items in my shop for followers and friends--unadvertised (I even tried putting up an item with an add, then waiting 15 minutes for the newspaper to have surely expired to put up expansion items)--only to have a stranger swoop in and scarf it all up. Seems like Supercell built the game with followers and friends as an integral part of the experience. Now that's completely subverted--and extremely NO FUN.

Don't worry, I am not very good in understanding english so it is rather my bad. I think they would know better than doing it on purpose, because it would be lots of complaining about it. I also think that they wouldn't be so unfair to the players that they would do such a thing just to fool us. I am just so suspicious (by nature) so I couldn't help but think that they could have done it too, just alternative thinking from me (?) lol. Because I know they don't really support the trading trend. But I don't really think they would do it on purpose to disturb trading, it is just my absurd idea about it all. So I don't mean to be rude or accuse them for something they didn't do. Hope I am understandable, I on the other hand have had too much coffee today.
