We should really be able to have some editable color scheme options with our defenses. At least ONE alternate option. I'm pretty much still ranting about how ugly the th10 defenses look. But either way, it would still be cool to be able to personalize our bases a little bit.
I can see were you're going at seeing the same colors for defenses and other things can get really old but here is the bad thing it would be really hard work for supercell to program that granite it wouldn't take long to do it but it would be really hard. Good idea just a few flaws.
I think my problem with this is that the colors area great indicator of what level a specific building is, particularly defenses. I wouldn't want the colors to be changeable or I would lose that edge

Yeah true. I dunno, i just have a major gripe with the terrible designing of these new defenses, like the lvl12 arch tower.
