I've been a th 8 for almost a year... Three builders... little free time... I'd have th 9 a while ago... tbh I lost a lot of my devotion to the game until I made a bet with my teacher and now he's buying my my fourth builder... Only free time I have are most Saturdays so I do my walls thru collectors,rare raids, and war loot.. Defense and wall wise I'm almost maxed. Troop wise, not so much... Leaving Healers,Gobs, hogs, and golems as is since I don't use them

Hi all fellow TH8's,

Just here to update my situation and hopefully gain some help as to what to do next.

So as it stands currently I am sitting with this:

Now, I'm not 100% sure what to upgrade next or what to save for, with all my DE I'm currently saving for my BK to 10 until then, no dark troops are gonna be upgraded.

Any insight on what I should upgrade next would be very much appreciated

I'm (nearly) halfway through maxing TH8. Finished almost all elixir upgrades. Now focusing on the DE upgrades.

Man, I tell you it's extremely hard to protect DE. So many hungry TH9s out there, some TH8s too (with lv4 Hogs). They smashed me so hard that I lost 6k DE within 8 hours (guilty of breaking shield). How do you guys manage to protect DE?

Now I'm taking refuge in Bronze (came from G3) as my builders are not free. I'm gonna try sub 200 once my builders are free.

TH8 was so fun, but it's nearly even more loot in TH9. Just pushed to masters as a 3,5 weeks old TH9, so glad I maxed TH8. I find it harder to protect DE as a new TH9 with lvl 2 xbows than a nearly max th8, just saying..

I am completely maxed accept for my walls. I have 51 lvl 8 walls and the rest lvl 7. Also, I need to upgrade my king one more level. I am currently lvl 86.

I'm NSainMonkey, been th8 for about 3 weeks now (rough estimation). I immidoately upgraded my lab, I have lvl 5 archers, lvl 3 drags, and working on lvl 5 wiz now. I can't screenshot my base cause yay, broken phone lol. I am moving a little faster than intoxicated thanks to a 25 dollar iTunes giftcad I got for my bday. I plan on staying th8 until everything including troop research, walls, and hero is as upgraded as I can get it.

For war my typical loadout includes 10 lvl 3 dragons, 3 lvl4 rage spells, and another dragon in my cc. I find that this is a VERY strong attack and almost 3 stared a mid-th9 this past war.

I see a lot about people only having 3 builders. I have all 5, it's hard and expensive to keep them busy, but I truely feel it is worth it. If you can get the gems for the builders, do it.
