Absolutely agree with ya brah. Lab does elixir upgrades while all ur d.e goes to AQ. If u have lvl10 BK, u can take AQ straight to lvl10 without worrying much abt BK.

It's time to move up to TH9. Idle builders is waste of time. It will take 8 days for TH9 to build. BK from level 8 to 10 is only 8 1/2 days. You would only be without maxed BK for 12 hours. By starting now, you start maxing out those DE drills. It will be easier to level up AQ than waiting it out for walls.

Golem upgrade can keep going for the next 8 days. It will keep going during lab upgrade for another 5 days.

I am an almost maxed TH8, with all my splash and air defenses maxed. I only have my cannons, teslas, archer towers, traps, and pumps for my gold before I start hardcore farming for my skulls. I definitely will get a lot of skulls done, because I calculated I have approximately 50 days of research still. :/

Hello all! I just got my level 8 town hall last night. Level 57 with mostly maxxed defence and troops. Just about to change my camp configuration. Will likely use the Golden Planet base.

It has been long and fun, but I am moving to TH9. I didn't finish 27 walls because I was gaining a bunch of DE and it would be a waste to let it sit there and be taken by TH9's it was time to get the queen. I maxed all troops and spells but, goblin, valk, healer, and golem. All defenses were maxed and my king is level 10 so I am ready. Good luck to the rest of you TH8's

Hey fellow TH8's! There hasn't been much activity on here, shame, I really like to see other people progress on something that I have not achieved so that I can push harder to achieve a truly MAX TH8

I have a simple question: Lately I've been floating around the 1500-1600 trophy range, and finding decent loot (150k of each and around 400+ DE)

SO! I guess my question would be, do I drop to Silver 1 or stay in Gold 3/2

I'm currently trying to max out my defenses and teslas, and if you've seen me on this forum before you'll know I rushed my TH7 to get the DE Drill dumb mistake...

My lab progress isn't too bad anymore, I used to have really low level troops, now I'm getting caught up, still really debating on upgrading the Healer & Valkyrie (I have never used either troop, once) My BK is Level 5 at the moment and makes a HUGE difference while BArch-ing

But yeah, lemme know where you guys are at! And please help me find the perfect farming range

I'm personally loving valks:


They offer a different flavor to the army than, for example, pekkas. Instead of relying on wizards to kill most stuff, I can bring more valks and have them kill stuff instead. The same doesn't work as well with pekkas (at least it doesn't for me).

The upside is that valks are actually quite resilient, compared to wizards which can die easily to stray defenses, or worst, giant bombs.

The downside is that high level walls can be quite problematic.

Healers I can't live without. She was the first troop I upgraded as a TH8. IMO, healer is the witch of the lower levels, it keeps the army going and going.

I've been Th8 now since Dec 16, I'm basically structurally maxed outside of two small bombs. I've got everything maxed done in lab except Valks, gobs, loons, healers, minions, zap and heal. Minions going to 2 atm. Once my Minions are maxed i'll do lightning, healer and loons then go to Th9. Got about 40% of skulls left to do. Been fun, enjoying learning to hog in war now, draglooning got boring.
