Finally reached my goal to have an absolute maxed-out TH8 base. Took me around 165 days to complete the journey.











Im now planning to retire from the game for I cant allot the same amount of dedication for TH9

Thanks to Shadow for coming up with the Trial of Anubis Layout, and also for the person who created the Roundhouse

I can now finally use my Troll layouts.



And here are my last 9 raids, because I dont have any use for Elixir, i raid using nothing but GoWiPe

Hi Bwandowando, I went to check you out a few times, saw your troll layout. Haha anyway a very good job done! Why dont you continue to TH9? Dont you feel there's something missing without getting your AQ?

Anyway, I wanna ask, do you use hogs? My final few defenses are going to be finished soon, but i dont have many skulls yet. Im just contemplating whether i should max my hogs first before going to TH9. My hogs will be level2 in a few hours then im gonna up them to level3.

At lvl 75, you should already pretty much know what you need to know...

Regardless, make sure you are always upgrading at least one tesla throughout your th8 journey, always upgrade walls in between defenses(as much as is reasonable), Prioritize lvl 5 farming troops/lvl 6 camps/lab/cc ahead of defenses...Offense always comes first in this game. Getting you're BK to 10 is highly recommended. Read through the forums to find good Th8 bases. Don't post a thread like this "Need a good th8 base..." The Nerd / Bowser/ Trial of Anubis / Hades Dining table are my top recomendations. For War bases, I would go with Hypnotica / Nautilus / This one recomended by chief wryhorn(http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...hlight=wryhorn)

For any base you should read through the forums and find one that suits you, or read guides on how to make them, and practice making your own. That would be your best option!

Hey Guys, I'm a month into TH8 and things are going well, but my king is level 7 and I've got 29k DE ready so after our war finishes into 2 days I can put him down too Level 8. But yesterday when I was at 28k DE I got hit twice pretty quickly for 1.6k DE which sucked because it takes me 5-6 raids to get that much, maybe more.

Is it typical that after 30k DE it is going to get hard to keep DE profitable through raiding. I do have my DE Drills maxed, but I still need to raid to keep things moving. I'm trying to get my king to 10.

Do you have your TH inside your walls or outside (and not trapped)? My TH is outside my walls and not trapped at all. I have had lots of extra elixir for days now and >25k DE for most of that time and I still usually get TH sniped. I am using a base that is designed to protect DE only though so that probably helps.

My TH is outside. I'm using Niner Terminator by TomBro and was previously using Bowser8. What base are you using?

I've been using The Nerd for a week or so now but I don't think it's been tested with a full army from a TH9/10 really yet. I think it is really just the luck of the draw whether or not the first attacker to your base wants to snipe or walk all over you. It is nearly impossible to defend against a TH9 or 10 bringing a full army.
