I maxed all mortars, 2 wiz towers and all ADs, all cannons and arch towers lv9. Now focusing on the teslas, got em upgrading to or at lv3, thats gonna take me a while to max em out :P it's getting harder and harder to keep my 4 workers busy atm.

Hi! I hit Town Hall 8 last August 10, 2014. About 4 months in TH 8 because of dark troops

Going to Town hall 9 on December 7, 2014. GMT +8. (Scheduled because I have finals week @ school so when I upgraded my TH on that day, my term break will be on the same day as my town hall finishes).

96% Maxed out Town hall 8. The other 4% are those healer, valks, lightning spell and minions will be upgrading the balloons and to level 5 after my pekka level 3.

Farming DE constantly bc of being a clan leader. :/ (especially in donating hogs for war)

Just hit Masters League! Took me 4 days (Thursday - today, Sunday). From G3 to G1 I barched, and from G1 to 2550 I used Balloonion, and for the last 50 trophies I used GoWiPe. Took me around 500 gems worth of boosting barracks, BK and spell factory.

I have 4 builders, what are my priorities to upgrade and build at TH8 as soon as I reach it?

The most obvious answers would be Laboratory and all 3 levels of the Dark Elixir drill for your first upgrades. I would also just try to get all the new defenses up to TH7 levels ASAP. Once the laboratory is upgraded then upgrade your raiding troops first.

Are you guys going to upgrade the golem to level 2? I wasn't planning on it considering it costs 60,000 DE and that's defiantly not easy to obtain at TH8.

If you go on to TH9 without upgrading golems, there will be a ton of lab research that you will do and forget about your golems. I am in a situation where I am maxing my DE structures and research with a maxed base.

If you dont do them now, you never will.

Hey fellow clashers :P

I recently designed a new base and it's also like Golden Planet a base to protect all of your resources, seeing as such bases are a bit rare as most bases neglect one resource, though I can fully understand that as designing a decent base while at the same time trying to protect all resources is pretty tough, especially as a TH8 :P
As of now I have one tester who is an early TH8 and myself, anyone interested (preferaby mid and max TH8) just PM me

I've been at TH8 for a little over a month (based on the laboratory math) and I'm farming and waring every chance I get. I don't take any credit for my base as I found it in this thread...cudos to the developer.










Comments, criticizems, I'll take all the help I can get on this journey. BTW, my other account just got to TH7 and it's 3,000de away from getting the barb king.


Lastly, I made my first push to crystal last week.

So I rushed to TH8 because of the DE Drill about 4 months ago (recently picked the game back up), and I regret doing so. I need major help in finding the right army comp to trophy push to the best league for looting (I find that Barching doesn't work for me but if that's what your going to recommend I'll give it another go), I also need a new Farming base so that I can start upgrading all my troops to their appropriate levels (I find Golden Planet doesn't work for me, so don't suggest that :P ). I'll most likely post pics of my current base at a later time Thanks in advance!
