Five days at TH8 and 1350-1550 trophy range has been very good for me. The best result is 1,6 million combined resources in 40 minutes - I do not know whether this is an achievement or not, but at least did not hapen to me at TH7.
Got run over by 30 level 6 giant army yestarday with some barch, heros and spells - my first total demolition at TH8 - loosing 550k gold and elixir and 1100 DE. Guess nothing can be done to stop such an assault at my level

Hey guys , I am Drrgamer

I have been a th8 since plenty of months but i didnt play for something like 3-4 months due to lack of loot
I came back after cw update and then loot was good for me so i continued playing
I like pushing once a while, i have pushed twice to masters and both time i was successful.

This can be time wasting ------
I have a bad history with clans, the clan which i liked wasnt taking action on those who sniped or didnt care about war
so i left it. Then i joined another clan but then after a month the leader left and clan collapsed
Then i was lvl 89 so i joined req and run clan to get the 90 asap I was co the other day broke my donation record 17 k in a week.I was level 92 to or something but loved it so i decided to stay.
But then the leader left the next week cuz he hit 90. Then afterwards the whole core left(3-5 co leads) and i was promoted to leader. I kept it running and i was very happy cuz we were growing stronger, our average level was 91 or close to that. But then i had exam and while i was very less active a co leader kicked every elder off and i was not active people left so i was left with 5 people. Then few days back i got help from friend and i recruited a lot. So now my staff is full of 60+ now im increasing the lvl to join to 70. -----

Ok, now about my base
Almost all my defenses are maxed , only remaining are-
Bombs all to level 5
Skeleton traps
Walls done - 45

My collectors , mines arent maxed I got 3 lvl 9 barracks and one lvl 10 . 1 lvl 4 and 1 lvl 3 de barracks
Bk is level 7
pekka lvl 3 in 3 days rest elixir troops and spell are maxed
de troops - all are level 1 except minions are maxed

Now some stats

Nice and tidy - 1435

builder hut destroyed - 3863
attacks defended - just 384

Guys can i know your walls destroyed and builder hut destroyed?

And troop comp i use in war is usually 9 drags and 10 minions or 20 archer (according to base) 2 rage 1 heal

I am now pushing to champion league and plan on upgrading townhall when i cant push any further
But i love my th8

Finished researching lvl2 Valk , could have upgraded hogs but i use the heal spell more often than hogs and hogs will need exactly 30 days to upgrade to lvl 4.

I just started my first DE research this morning with the hogs to level 2. I still have goblins, wall breakers, healing and PEKKAs (x2) to research for regular elixir but I just didn't see myself scrounging up enough elixir tonight to get another research going. I've got just one more wiz tower to upgrade then I can concentrate more on the archer towers/cannons and ADs finally. Teslas are coming along nicely, but just slowly.

I think it's the best idea to upgrade splashes first as well but I've also been using the "always be tesla-ing" idea from another th8 thread. Basically the teslas take so long to upgrade that I try to have one tesla upgrading at all times. I just started a level 6 tesla this morning but I still have one tesla at level 4 and the third is level 5. I really need to bite the bullet soon and start getting my purple wiz towers soon though.

Doing testa first or last does not reduce upgrade time. I would leave tesla at the end, since i want the attackers to see how upgraded my defense first...try to intimidate them. Tesla, on the other hand, is hidden...

Maxed out archer towers, woohoo. Next I need to decide to max wizzard towers or air defense. I'm focusing more on air for some reason.

Getting hit with lots of air attacks in gold? Personally I went Wt first, but its up to you!

Doing testa first or last does not reduce upgrade time. I would leave tesla at the end, since i want the attackers to see how upgraded my defense first...try to intimidate them. Tesla, on the other hand, is hidden...

I never said that keeping a tesla going all the time reduces the actual upgrade time, but I think having a tesla upgrading all the time helps keeping all my builders busy due to the long upgrade time. I also usually like only upgrading one type of defense at a time so I don't want to save all the teslas till the end and have all 3 down for weeks on end.
