Barbarians, Archers, Giants, Balloons,Wizards, Dragons & Golems (soon to be 2) are maxed

Minions 3(will max), hog riders 1

Spells are: Lightning 3 , heal 4, rage 4,

Pekkas are 1 and WB is 4


I dont really care for maxing healers(2) or goblins(3)

These are my last 6 hours as a TH8

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture. Currently, my base is completely maxed out including BK lvl 10 and lvl 8 walls. All research has been completed except Goblin lvl 5 and Healer lvl 3, because I do not use them at all currently.

I am sitting on 5m gold, 5m elixir and 75k DE, planning to gem the spell factory as soon as I hit TH9, get AQ and start her lvl 2 upgrade as well. Plus, 1 Xbow, lab upgrade and 1 dark barrack upgrade. 1 builder will be kept free to dump resources into walls and start short time construction of new defences so he is available for my next raiding session.

I have it all planned out, until real life intervenes

You guys have fun at TH8 - the loot here was absolutely brilliant. I did not need to beyond Gold III even for DE if I could raid enough to cover it with 1000-1500 DE raids.

Don't hold back. I would try and max your pekka and minions before you th9 upgrade finishes.

Don't hold back. I would try and max your pekka and minions before you th9 upgrade finishes.

Going to start pekkas next, makes sense to get such a large cost out of the way while I'm overflowing with elixir at th8.

Hi everyone! First time posting here and only registered when i found this thread. I'm currently on my 46th day as a TH8 with walls maxed out. I think i maxed them less than 30 days into TH 8. Made sure that storages were filled to the brim whenever a builder is about to finish then dumped the excess gold and/or elixir to the walls then upgrade a defensive structure. I started TH 8 with only 4 builders so had a bit of a hard time managing which structures to upgrade. I stuck with upgrading BK to 10 and def structures which i think is abad move. I've been using dragons since TH 7 and right now I don't find it fun anymore. So now catching up in upgrading my dark barracks and normal ones for GOWIPE.

Recently sniped my way up into the master league which allowed me to acquire the 5th builder. Planning to max everything in the lab except for the healer which i only used a handful of times. I still have a long ways to go so wish me luck. Lol

I'm using GiWiPe atm with 5,5,1 and lev 7 giants in castle, but having mixed success, seems to work alright but poor on fully defensively maxed TH8s.

max TH8 is a walk in the park to 3 star if we talking war raids, you can see their layout before hand and chose the comp you want to 3 star with, I'm maxed TH8 (100% max for 2 months now, already have a TH9 acc but TH8 is better, more fun) if they have a tight packed base, hog it, if their AD are relatively exposed, hog/drag, 5 max hogs in cc + 8 drags and 8 hogs, 3 lightning spells, lightning any hard to reach AD out of existence, use hogs + cc hogs to destroy other 2 AD, lay down drags, if the AD are all in the core, dragloon, first place drags, then loons, 2 rage and 1 heal near core, max loons in cc are best, if they have a well spread base, gowipe it, if they have anything out or in between use gowiva, gowiva is strongest TH8 comp and can 3 star just about any max TH8 base, just learn to use it right see my gowivape thread for some results n shizzz that I get as a TH8 who's been enlightened to the power of valkyries: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...60#post3613360 , the first time I 2 starred a max TH9 was with a pure gowiva raid with level 1 golems and level 1 valks, now that I've come close to mastering it I can comfortably 2 star maxed out Th9s with 60% + damage, regardless of their cc troops and wall levels, I haven't raided lv10 walls yet but lv9 is no big deal level 1 valkyries are still by far most OP TH8 troop, golems though really get a needed boost from 1 to 2, upgrade golems early at TH8
EDIT: forgot to mention, generally any TH8 base without double bomb spots in it is hoggable with level4 hogs, if its only single bombs level 4 hogs can still 3 star it no problem, if you can't 3 star like that it's because you aren't placing spells well or you suck with hogs idk lol I can do it and I rarely hog, just because bombs are stronger doesn't mean hogs at TH8 aren't OP anymore

GoWiVa can 3 star some TH9 max base designs, I don't see it fsiling against TH8.

im in the same dilemma, ive maxed everything except collectors, ive decided to do all my de troops thus spending an additional month n half in th8, de is easy to come by so isn't an issue. at th9 id rather focus my de on heroes and have better de troops to farm/war with. That would be my 2 cents
