All defenses maxed, a few more pumps to get to 12 now..all walls are skull

Gobs going to 5 in 1 day then I'm going to get Minions to 4..or take Healer to 3 and spend those 5 days DE Farming for Lvl 2 Golems..I haven't decided yet..I'm still going full maxed lab

78 days into TH8, and the end (for me) is in sight. All buildings are maxxed except mines/collectors, where I have four more @ lvl 10 and then all 12 to take to lvl 12. BK is going to 9 now, @ 192 skull walls and counting, and my focus is on trying to get the most important research left done before launching, because when walls and collectors are maxxed I'm moving on!

Thanks to all posting on here. Reading this for the past couple of months kept me going!

Have both drills to Lev 2, will get too 3 hopefully soon.

Keep getting destroyed for 200k+ of each buy TH9s.

Using the bowser TH8, can this be prevented?

I've followed this thread for a couple months, but finally got around to posting. Its been 56 days since I upgraded to Town Hall 8. My defenses are almost maxed except for my tesslas and an Air Defense once I finish that I'm planning on upgrading walls and baracks along with trying to get level 4 hogs as rapidly as possible. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

are you specifically wanting to max out TH8, or are you wanting to work out the best way to get DE?

I am ending my time as a TH8 in about a weeks time. I am currently upgrading minions to level 4, and all offensive buildings are maxed except archer towers (level 9's).

I was going to take Bando's advice and not upgrade to TH9, but personally I was getting bored with the game! And seeing as it is a game, after all, I decided to upgrade so the game would continue to be fun for me.

Thanks for the numerous times I've read this thread and its predecessor for advice!

TH9 is definitely worth upgrading to... it's heaps more fun with the AQ and lvl 6 troops!

not much you can do to defend against TH9s with maxed troops, they're just too strong. best option is to put your TH outside so that ppl snipe it and leave your loot alone. that worked really well for me in gold, and even better if you're down in silver

Anything with Th outside is your best bet, a guranteed 1 star loss every defense will let you lose less cups than a base with TH inside getting you 2 or 3 starred on every defense

Maybe around 4 month, and my lab upgrades are still not finished. My goal of an absolutely maxed out th8 is getting nearer though. Gobs and healers left go upgrade.

I started TH8 sometime in October I think, not sure, I believe in the latter part of October so not too long.

36 Lvl 6 walls
188 Lvl 7 walls
1 skull wall (LOL I still dont know how this happened because I dont remember doing this)

I am currently working on upgrading all of my wiz towers to Lvl 6. One will be done today in 5.5 hrs and the other in 2days 12hrs. All mortars are upgraded to lvl 6. Teslas's are at lvl 4 and I'll be working on upgrading one soon once that first WT is done. All my cannons are lvl 9 and AT are lvl 8 with one at lvl 7 so I will need to work on upgrading those along the way. Splash and Teslas were the priority. All AD's are lvl 5. My collectors are all over the place, nothing is maxxed, highest is lvl 10. I have one Pekka barrack and two Dragon barracks, last one is lvl 8. Both DE drills are lvl 2, need to get them to lvl 3 as I don't farm DE much since my priority is gold and elixir to perform building upgrades and lab upgrades. One dark barracks is going to lvl 4 for golems and the other is still lvl 1.

I've got a long ways to go!

Been a th 8 for 28 days i had a maxed th7.i only have 4 builders.
I have maxed all my mortars 2 maxed wizard towers 1 lvl 4.My ads lvl 5,5 and 4.My canons all lvl 9 and my archer towers all level 8
60 lego walls
4 lvl 9 regular barracks and 1 lvl. 2 dark barrack
One level 3 drill and one lvl1.My de storage cappacity is maxed but can't say the same for the other ressources.
For laboratory i did:archer,barb,dragons and giants will be ready tomorrow.
I plan on maxing everything at th8 even walls the only exception being dark troops because there are no looting penalties for de.
I need to get to the masters league to get my 5 th builder and speed up the process but i'm not motivated enough for now.Maybe after the new year.

Happened to me too it's because of the upgrade range feature when you get your new walls.you upgrade 1 wall to the next level then you put it in a range of lower level walls and upgrade them all at the same time.
