What do you need help with? If its upgrading stuff then start upgrading your splash defense first. (mortar and wizard towers)

How are u guys doing? Im not playing as much as before for i changed employer and im now focusing on my job. Though im still maxing out my TH8 and im currently upgrading to lvl 4 hogs, and thanks to the new update , new buildings to upgrade and build.

Hey fellow TH8's,

I just wanted to let you know that I recently updated a few of the older TH8 bases by Pingfao,Junliang,Avernicus,Orz etc. in this thread here (http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...H8-Compilation). Take a look, maybe you find something you like, would also appreciate some testers to add some defense logs as I'm probably the only one

Finally maxed my th8. All skull walls, max defenses, max camps n rax, lvl6 lab completely finished, lvl10 bk. only thing the update happened right as I started my th9 so no lvl12 collectors, but I will have both drills maxed by the time the th finishes. So pumped for th9.

my mini is TH8 now, but it's only really used for clan war attacks... i don't actually farm on it, i'm just letting the collectors do their thing. yay for second DE drill!!

My defenses are almost maxed except for my tesslas and an Air Defense once I finish that I'm planning on upgrading walls and baracks along with trying to get level 4 hogs as rapidly as possible. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Head up to crystal and then drop some trophies so you are a 1940-1960 crystal leaguer or so. Use BAM and look for easy to snipe d.e storages with at least 1000 d.e. Should be no more than 2 walls deep or it will be too hard to get with this combo at TH8.

Also keep a look out for town halls to snipe to keep your trophies where they are at.

Every win in Crystal gives you 100 d.e. but your main objective is to steal from those easy to get to storages. Don't be afraid to lose a battle if the d.e is easy to get... You just will have to raise your trophies up again so you dont drop to Gold league.

I am ending my time as a TH8 in about a weeks time. I am currently upgrading minions to level 4, and all offensive buildings are maxed except archer towers (level 9's).

I was going to take Bando's advice and not upgrade to TH9, but personally I was getting bored with the game! And seeing as it is a game, after all, I decided to upgrade so the game would continue to be fun for me.

Thanks for the numerous times I've read this thread and its predecessor for advice!
