Currently there is an issue with Clan Wars. When war begins I like to scout certain bases and figure out the best set of troops to 3 star them. Maybe their air defenses are lower than their level and a baloonion attack would work really well combined with rage. Or the walls are tough but the defense is only ok... HOGS. I can spend hours cooking the perfect set of troops to annihilate a particular base. I call it in my clan and one of two things happens:
1. Someone didn't either see or respect that I called it.
2. Clan chat exceeds the maximum number of messages and no one can see my message anymore.
It is frustrating due to the time and elixir I just sank into the planned attack and now I have to hope that this particular set of troops will work as well on another base. It probably will, but I had planned ahead. So I started to think about a new feature that allows a clan to turn on "Call Mode" which will add the ability to call a particular opponents in war. This is how I think it should work:
As soon as the war day beings users can call which opponent they plan on attacking. The call then expires in 5 hours giving them adequate time to cook the correct troops to attack how they want, after the call expires the opponent is open to be called or attacked by anyone. In the last 6 hours of war all calls expire and the option to call an opponent is removed as an option when viewing the base.
I think this is a fair way to give everyone the ability to use precise attacks on bases. I have looked around and haven't seen this feature request before, but if it has been requested please let me know... anyway let me know what you guys think of the idea!
