Keep 5 Troops for your own defense

My idea would be for you to save only 5 troops for defensive purposes only. The troops could only be Archers or Barbarians. This will give you some peace of mind that there are some troops that will help protect your town hall if none of your clan mates donate. I have two ways that this might work.

Idea 1: save 5 troops in the Clan Castle that will count against requesting troops. If your Clan Castle can only hold 10 troops/Capacity then you can save five Archers or Barbairans and then send a request for the remainder.



Idea 2: Save 5 troops in the Town Hall. Again they can only be archers or barbarians. Give the town hall a radius (radius size doesn't matter) for when the troops can be deployed.

Troops to defend your village are one of the main benefits of being in a clan. If your mates don't donate, I think maybe you should find a more active clan.

True but maybe you're asking for troops at a wrong time. when we start a war i know my clan is very active in troop giving but when we finish or take a break from war its not as active.

also, some clan members are active at different times because of work, school etc..it would be nice to have atleast 5 troops before your shield runs out.
