Root Problem:
- The clan who is offensively and defensively stronger is currently able to bully lower Town Halls for more 3-stars than the weaker clan is capable of getting regardless of skill.
Given:
- The clan who has more attackers with greater skill should always be the clan that wins, not the one that can bully the weaker guy using higher level troops/heroes, and stronger defenses.
Disclaimer:
- I am well aware that an elite clan can overcome mismatches most of the time
Solution?
- When a higher lvl Town Hall attacks a lower level, their troops are reverted back to max for the TH they are attacking. A TH10 can only bring 220 troops, 4 spells, and lvl 30 heroes when attacking a TH9 in clan war. They cannot bring freeze spells, and when they deploy their troops, they are lvl 5 wizards, lvl 4 golems, lvl 3 PEKKA, etc. (The difference in troop cost could be refunded or calculated as a penalty)
Anyone who has a problem with this solution would be admitting their lack of skill. I believe Clan Wars are intended to be balanced skill competitions, not bullying massacres. Furthermore, this would not even make things completely even as the stronger clan would still have a defensive advantage. However, this would at least make match-ups more skill-oriented and give everyone a fighting chance to prove themselves as the better clan.
