I propose a new kind of trap that can absorb or negate spells. This trap could be a similar size to the bomb or giant bomb. Once the trap absorbs or negates a spell, it breaks and cannot be used again until you re-arm the trap.
Lightning - The spell trap would completely absorb this spell and prevent any damage from being done by the spell and finally breaks the trap.
Healing - The spell trap could either completely negate healing effects or absorb the healing spell to heal your defending buildings and then breaks the trap.
Rage - The spell trap completely negates the rage spell and then breaks the trap.
Jump - The spell trap negates the jump spell's effects and breaks the trap.
Freeze - The spell trap could either negate the freeze effect or could absorb the spell and cast the freeze effect on attacking units and then breaks the trap.
