1) It doesn't really convenience me in any way. It just allows me to express an alternative look at league shields to a group I know is already predisposed.
2) I don't need any convincing. But, you are free to present any more evidence to either support or refute my claims, as of yet, I see neither from you.

I believe that most clans need to reassess how they go about recruiting players and that the league system helps direct clans into the right direction so that they don't fall into the trap of thinking level means anything. I'm 80+. Every time I would go into global asking to join a clan, four or five clans would BEG me to join them. Why? Just because of a number. They had no idea if I was more interested in farming, more interested in keeping my trophies high for the team, or if I even had any intention of donating beloved archers. I could just as easily join any of those teams and do everything counter to whatever mission statement that leader may have.

To mean farming clans are basically scavengers that want to stay in the game. It is a means to an end but, since it is a temporary means, I see all farming clans as "PUC"s, Pick Up Clans. If you want to farm, just get your "friend" to donate archers.

I understand what you are saying. However most clans base their recrutiment on the Level of a player not trophies (and will continue to do so until the Leaque bonuses are increased)...

I do believe that the players level does indicate the maturity of a player.. This is somewhat a general sweeping statement i know, but i think a lot of immature people (i.e. the kids) stop playing once the uprades hit 4/5 days..so around level 50/60

What confuses me is that over the months i seen numerous threads about how level is useless within the game and as soon as SC remove them.. BOOM I want my level back!

Personally i liked having the Level displayed.. and i would like it re-instated but like always adapt and move on...

I've only been coming to the forums in the last 2 weeks and that has been long enough to recognize the reputation you have established for yourself and its not a flattering one. Feel free to keep stirring the pot arguing/disagreeing with the majority. The mere fact you felt the need to even create this thread says volumes of your antagonistic behavior.

Well, or a credit card. Either way, when do these players go into global for a chat or to find a clan? I suspect many are already in great clans that give troops like jellybeans to support their trophy rush. Cool for them. The people who are more likely to want recruiting are the mid-range, levels 40-60 for example, and finding them among all the I-III silver and gold is a pain. Obviously the players you indicate are good players. Cretins would think otherwise. Its EVERYONE ELSE who is difficult to gauge.

Maybe the gemmers... complained to Supercell for having lower levels than Farmers.... Just A thought...

1. I often see people stating that they want to see the level so they can recruit easier while in global.

2. While I highly doubt people are really recruiting THAT much, I can still prove that league shields can, to a very good extent, tell a recruiter how good somebody is.

3. Here's how:

YOU KNOW DARN WELL THAT IF YOU SEE EITHER ONE OF THESE:



...next to their name (number or no number), that they are WORTH RECRUITING.

4. If they have a crystal shield, like me, then they fall into that grey area, semi-serious, or making a trophy rush.

5. If they have a bronze, silver, or gold, they are either a noob, farming, or still trying to find the best defense/offense to move up a league. Basically, your average player.

So, there you have it. You don't need the lvl to give you a relative idea of what kind of player you have that may or may not be worth being a member of your clan.
