PROOF: That league shields can tell you how good somebody is

Leagues have been out for only a week or so. Let's see what happens first before crapping all over them. If things aren't different several months down the line, we can flog SC then. I firmly believe the intent will be to make trophy hunting profitable.

The lack of incentive to gain trophies is in my opinion the game's biggest flaw.

I had a 4.0 through college playing sports... we had tutors go to our class take notes for us and even help us take our tests... im pretty sure that doesn't make me a good student... keeping a reputation on a forum an indicator of your character... is that a serious question? lol think of your post from the OP perspective and see how demanding everyone is sounding when all he did was post his opinion... he's not dissagreeing with anyone just stating opinion... and your character is pretty flawed are you not belittling the OP with your own post? also majority opinion doesn't always matter in a game... sc is a business and while majority has a big say in things... money ultimately has the final say.

I don't think you understood what I meant. What you said proved my point...that one thing alone isn't a good indicator. 4.0 doesn't mean you are a good student but a good indicator. A forum posts doesn't define a person as a whole but its a good indicator. Just like the league badge is a good indicator but its just one. So I would like to see both league and level because it helps you understand about the player. Majority opinion does matter because 10 people spending $1000 is more rare, compared to 1000 people spending $10 or more. Trust me, they make more from avg players than top players alone.

1. I often see people stating that they want to see the level so they can recruit easier while in global.

2. While I highly doubt people are really recruiting THAT much, I can still prove that league shields can, to a very good extent, tell a recruiter how good somebody is.

3. Here's how:

...next to their name (number or no number), that they are WORTH RECRUITING.

Not true, there are premmie TH6s in masters.

4. If they have a crystal shield, like me, then they fall into that grey area, semi-serious, or making a trophy rush.

What if you are farming in crystal, and you legitimately farmed everything and almost maxed? Is that semi serious?

5. If they have a bronze, silver, or gold, they are either a noob, farming, or still trying to find the best defense/offense to move up a league. Basically, your average player.

Same as above. There could be above average players in gold league.

So, there you have it. You don't need the lvl to give you a relative idea of what kind of player you have that may or may not be worth being a member of your clan.

XP Level and troop levels are the best way to recruit people.
