Thread: New dark elixir troops, and Pure Elixir idea

    I already got an idea for a tower!

    How about an angel statue wich is carrying a staff in front of him with both hands! On the top of the staff is a light blue glowing Orb full of energy! The orb can shoot... How should I call it? Holy balls (?) wich deal area splash dmg and slows by 10%! If he attacks an already slowed troop he slows it again by 10%! If the by 20% slowed troop gets hit again it gets slowed by 10% again up to 50% slow! If the tower hits a troop wich's already sowed by 50%, the troop gets stunned for 1s! If the troops are under the effect of a random spell, they can't get slowed or stunned!

    I didn't make stats cause it isn't sure that you like this tower!
    This is also an idea out of the blue, so don't hang me of you think it's miserable!

    maybe the new defense could have a range of 8, and shoot out a shock wave of yellow energy in all directions every 5 seconds, and it has like 6 dps (But that is 30 damage per attack)

    It's goin somewhere.....

    I like the ideas, very original, but my job is here is to point out flaws.

    The rager would be too op being able to heal and rage, might make healers kinda useless. Also the name rager wouldn't work too well with the incurable disease in people being immature (dark healer is better)

    The imp would be easily killable by putting multi-layered walls around resources, defenses, etc. They would just be damaged to the point of a one shot.

    Griffin would work out too well be in defenses would be switching to and from between him too often. Might break the game especially when paired with a rage spell or a rager in this case The archer queen is able to do so due to the fact that it is a one time use.

    Trolls being able to swing over walls wouldnt workout too well because the same problem as the imp arrives (multi-layered). Also trying to script an ai that bypasses walls, targets troops, and specific buildings might cause game crashing errors.

    Dark mage I really liked and I don't have much of an issue with, but instead of shooting 2 bolts he would shoot 1 that would bounce between a certain number of buildings. The bouncing stops once a certain amount of damage has been delt.

    Phoenix has been put outta use with the lava hound.

    Elfs seem kinda useless due to the fact that most archers are already out of range when attacking.

    I like it, I think it's a cool suggestion and I'll take something like that into consideration when planning out new art. I have a lot in mind for where this holy elixir thing can go.

    As for a holy tower; what about a healing tower?? Pretty much like a healer shooting healing bolts but it's stationary and heals the other defenses in a base within it's range. I'd say it has low life so it can be taken out easy but I think it'd be a cool defensive structure to throw into the mix

    Too much scripting when all you have to do us just ask for a healer in your cc

    if it can be thought up; it can be made to work. Supercell would just have to decide if it were worth the effort and if it would improve the quality of the game.

    i think anything that improves on the depth of the strategy involved in an attack; or in the way a base is laid out is worth consideration and discussion

    Or you can just ask for a healer in your cc

    True.... But a healer can be lured. A stationary healing tower could be harder to get to and would make an attacker think a little more about their attack. Also, this would allow for a defense to have a healing capacity and a cc defense force.


    or to maximize their base's healing potential by having a healer in their cc and a healing tower.

    The idea of this isn't something groundbreaking, it's not like you can't already heal your base on defense; it's just a suggestion of an expansion to what has already been established in game.

    Healing Tower... Interesting idea! But don't give him too much range! Would be OP! And the tower also sholdn't heal any other buildings, exept defenses! A TH wich could get healed would be unfair if someone failes his attack and his last hope is a bunch of archers wich are out of every range...

    Ideas are great. I especially like the black mage and phoenix. They'd be absolutely badass. I also think there should be defenses made out of dark elixir.
    Witches are kinda hot
