revenge attacks should not disable shield

I submit the idea that attacking someone for revenge should not disable your shield. If someone has raided you and you wish to retaliate it should not expose you to new raids.

Why not? Even if its a revenge its still a raid so its normal that you lose your shield

Their attack should give you a shield, so why wouldn't retaliating take it away? Seems like a wash to me

No way dude- losing your shield is part of the disadvantage of attacking. Thats why you wait till after your shield is gone.
