I'm sorry, try and hold my breath, I don't do so well at above 1900 trophies. My lvl6 units are still on their way and this strategy, if true, has most certainly delayed any intention of me competing for trophies any time soon. With the reduced loot, I can dream of using the troops I once did when I was TH8. I miss playing with dragons... it back to archers and barbs for now.
The leagues don't make sense if I can get onto a higher or lower league within a "season", and if there are no rewards for being the top player in my league? There's no competition whatsoever actually, more like luck if you can get the exact amount of cup to be at the top without getting promoted. Supercell said its for us to track our own progress. Well, we could already do that with the old ranking system, couldn't we ... LOL. In fact, in the old system, we could see how far away we were in the grand scheme of thing.
We all want to kick Jorge Yao off that top spot one ... farmers are farming so they can one day trophy hunt. Trophy hunters are getting better and better to get to that penultimate spot to challenge the numero uno! Supercell agrees, that's why they give gems there, and nothing for the leagues.
