    Clan War Participation

This idea is to encourage members to participate in CW with an add-on suggestion at the end. Let me know what you think! Thanks for reading!

    • Preparation Day
      • Give clan members the option to opt out of the war during the first half of prep day OR require clan members that are selected for the war to opt in during the first half of prep day or they will be auto-opted out.
      • Their base remains on the map with a flag that identifies the war base as from a member that has opted out.
      • The clan war leader has the option to edit their war base.
      • The clan war leader should be the person that requested the clan war match.
      • The opted out member cannot benefit from the CW, no loot goes to them.
      • Once a member opts out, they cannot return to the war.

    • Battle Day
      • The opted out member's attacks will be delegated to other active clan war members.
      • Troops will come from the active members. It will be up to other clan members to fill the opted out member's army camps for battle. Troop selection/level for donations will be synonymous with the opted out player's army camp capacity, max barracks level, laboratory level, and spell factory level. For example, other clan members couldn't donate level 4 troops if the opted out member's max laboratory level is 2. Or perhaps just make it where active members can view the opted out member's war base and have the option to train troops at the cost of personal elixir in their war base barracks.
      • Track army creation numbers in the opted out member's army camps and award the attack to the clan member that trained the most troops for the army.
      • Any loot won from the delegated attacks, will be divided among the members that created the army in amounts proportionate to their personal cost of creating said army. Naturally, the member that creates the majority of the army will be awarded the attack, and get the most loot from the attack.

    • Additional Suggestions
      • Clan war troop donation - segregate troop donations intended for use in an attack in clan war from regular gameplay donations. Maybe make them synonymous with the war base donations. I recently requested troops that I wanted to use in a clan war attack. I logged off, apparently received troops, logged back on, but they were used in defense of my village in regular gameplay before I made my attack in clan war. So now I have to request more troops for the battle at an additional cost to clanmates. Not fair for them.
      • Battle day participation - active clan war members must use their 2 attacks before they can return to attacking in regular gameplay. They still don't have to use their attacks if they feel it's not worth it for whatever reason, but at least they will be minimally penalized for doing so. It's unfair to the other members who use their attacks in clan war because of the clan's reduced odds of winning the war due to unused attacks.

Maybe COC should front us elixir for battle day troops only. Esp since it seems that there is an issue with loot distribution at times.

Some clan do last hours all out attack and save attack for last hour for strategy
hope opponent clan confident for win and just looting high player and get attack at last hours so if people use this strategy they cant attack all day long bcoz they not attack in war?

its better to have something like if the war lose pinalty to those dont attacking like elixir that lost from other member attack
