I cant believe how SC took away levels. The Community is very upset with the levels being taken away. ( there are some who dont care) we have many many threads about levels and how we want them back. polls asking levels vs leagues or both. the vast majority wants levels BACK.

For the purpose of having a high level to recruit, supercell just want people to try and go up to diamond or master league and spend gems doing so just so they have that badge to try and recruit from it in global. I'd love to say I'm wrong, but I'm not.

When I recruit, I don't care about how many trophies he/she has, I want to know how long they've been playing and how much they donate.
When we do take in new members we look at the whole picture of the player, this includes, their level, base design, base development, troop strength, the age and maturity of the player, will they fit into the culture of the clan and lastly do they appear to be a good person. In terms of trophies, our main clans do have trophy requirements and this will always be part of the decision process whilst other clans have their own requirements. it's fair to say that high trophies 3000+ requires $$$ to maintain shields and to gem troops to reduce wait times. Not all players will be high trophy players, and our family of clans does cater to the needs of our players - trophies, farming and fun.
In the last few weeks we have specifically head-hunted certain players and they are either in our clan or have received a PM asking them to join our clan.
Prior to that, folk applied at our doorstep and we needed to screen them, we still utilize this process if we believe a candidate would fit into other clans within the Bonbee family.
I appreciate that SC wish to focus primarily on trophies and they can, it is their game. But wouldn't it be nice if they catered for all of us?
Levels served no operational purpose except to allow the purchase of some decorations, so they must have been intended to show the player's relative strength and time spent on the game.
taking them away seems to be an effort to change the culture in the game and make us focus on trophies - it has to bewhat they meant about making trophies worthwhile, as the league bonuses are oo small to be meaningful.
Daddy said he has never seen a company that is so willing to listen to feedback from customers( or words to that effect). This would be a good tome to demonstrate that you value our opinions.
Level is important for screening clan members.
Please bring it back!
