I agree pinser. And the strategy for winning offense is clear, lol. My argument is... one could scheme a base that gets you wins on defence before... and with the arrival of Golem... this isnt possible anymore. Just the occasional lucky one. So at this cup level - you win cups one at the time for each win-and you lose your winnings on defence pretty much always.
What just 3 starred your base right now? Can you post that?
Just to sum up the last few pages::
you are angry because you can't defend from a TOP attack...? what did you expect? that you would win more than you lose??

At least now u need "some skill" to use pekkas and golems n spells...

I won about 80% of the drag attacks in defence...
wish ppl would go back to attacking with dragons lol.

i tried to look at your base dave.... saw only walls???
I have a screen shot of (R2 the J and Moreno) based getting wiped out 100%. Before golem update, not even a near max base can get 100% and now a MAX base is getting WIPED lol so if that doesn't show that DEFENSE has gotten to where it's pointless then i don't know what else will. So i'm on your side AIMEE ^^

From bottom to top-->
1 star loss from maxed new golem attack
1 star loss from maxed new golem attack
defence win against old dragon attack
2 star loss from maxed new golem attack directly after the dragon attack, so no cc or Heros.
Defence win against new golem attack but player must of forgot to build units other than the golems, they killed most the cc and my Heros though.
defence win from maxed new golem attack with 5 archers in cc and no Heros.
With a few minor tweaks my base does just fine against the new style attack, it's no different than before with dragons.
