ALERT: Don't upgrade TownHall to Level 9! Big Mistake!

I just started my TH9 upgrade last night. Could not be happier.

I feel really bad for you already. I was excited just like you for my TownHall to upgrade to level 9. Now I regret ever upgrading it. I wish I was back at TownHall 7. I wish you the best of luck my friend.

How so? Ill be completely maxed with the exceptions of collectors, by the time the TH finishes.

I thought the same thing. I thought, hey I have 10 days to max everything. Well, 10 days didn't get me very far and I have 5 builder huts. All of them were active and were always active. If you don't have your walls and everything else actually maxed I plead you not to upgrade TownHall. Dude I don't want you to feel as bad as I do. Please don't upgrade TownHall you will regret it. Just take this advice.

He is in fact telling you what should you do before upgrading your TH.

He may have everything maxed, but he should still fill his storages before upgrading his TownHall. Otherwise he will not be able to upgrade anything at TownHall 9 because he won't be able to farm anything.

I am on the verge of quiting. Thanks SuperCell. You treat your members that play your game well by doing this to us who upgraded TownHall to Lvl 9. $100 down the drain from you guys and you guys don't even care. I haven't spent any money on this since I upgraded TownHall and I won't every spend any more money on here thanks to you SuperCell. I want a refund of my $100 or you can downgrade my TownHall to lvl 7.

How did you manage to spend $100 on clash of clans. I have not bought any and am still doing fine.

The best advice I can give is to fill two barracks up with barbarians, two barracks with archers and your two dark elixir barracks with minions and raid every 10/15 minutes or so for the 80k you are finding. Just keep the troops flowing and remember to fill your barracks up before each raid so there's troops waiting when you get back. This will slowly build up until you can afford defences and troop upgrades. It'll be a struggle but I hope it helps.

This is how I did it -- WELL -- all the way to th 8. I used goblins in stead of the above barbs -- along with minions. It was fun and profitable. I always preferred to stay between 1100-1300 trophies. You will find plenty of bases with good loot and happen upon a great raid every so often. However, you must gain experience about which to attack and which to pass -- do not be too greedy.
