The loot is harder to find these days, but I'm TH8 at ~1400 trophies and I usually manage to find a base with 180k or more gold to raid. (I'm looking for gold) I've heard 1400-1500 is pretty good for TH8 if that's what you are.
You sound TH9ishy. Try the 1700's.
im TH8 but my trophy count dropped down to 1188

Im not that up to date on the way the game works, diddnt think trophy level had much to do with loot count. I knew TH level did have something to do with the bonuses
Well, trophies are correlated with Th level. You won't find many Th 6s at 1500 trophies and you won't find many Th 7s at 600 trophies. Farming ranges are simply trophy counts where certain TH levels are more common.

Trophy count just dictates what other trophy levels you will be fighting. Zach is saying better bases reside in the 100-200 higher trophy range, giving you better loot options. Generally speaking, of course. It might still be dry for you. Don't give up, there's a trophy range for everyone.
