Hopefully A Helpful Summary for Level Restoration Request

There are so many threads about requesting restoring levels back into various clan chats and global screens, etc. And I heard from many people that Marika only just today saw one of these threads after SneakyDave sent her the link, which was my concern with so many splintered, confusing threads.

So, I hope this "summary" thread will help consolidate the efforts, and ease relaying the community's feedback to the powers that be. The users have a voice, but we only hurt ourselves by splintering it into so many threads.

I cannot recall an issue or change in the game that had such widespread negative reaction YET coupled with a constructive solution. Usually, people in the past griped about low loot, overpowered this or that, but frankly, much of it was whining without offering a solution.

Here is the problem. (1) Many clan chats have rather useless badges showing (see below). (2) Recruiting is difficult in global, hurting newer clans particularly. (3) Screening out applicants based on levels requires more clicking now. (4) And on a lesser note, some higher levels feel their achievements have been undermined.




Canada and x93 offered a constructive solution, wherein all of (i) levels, (ii) league levels, and (iii) league division is shown below. Two constructive solutions are offered below, by the community:






The proposed solution addresses the increased emphasis that the Developers wish onto trophies and leagues, while bridging back to the history and legacy that many people are used to. I genuinely would urge the Developing team at Supercell to hear the community's feedback and proposed constructive solution (which, hehe, can be rare).

The debate is not levels vs. leagues; it is rather a request to show both... please reconsider. Some were demanding this to be updated immediately, but is it possible for this request from the community at large can be included into the next update?

Thanks Ill for a detailed thread on the issue. Hopefully Supercell will listen to their customers and implement a change to give us our levels back. I will be extremely disappointed if this does not happen.

I think it's a perfect design. It doesn't take away the league badge and itll still give us our levels we worked so hard for . They'll be able to kill two birds with one stone and make everybody happy.
