By that reasoning, wizards should be omnipotent, as their fireball is magic, aka a spell. Also, if an alchemist (the characters in this game who create and enhance) can create an attack, why can he not create a counter?

Only the ones who are capable of dropping spells are omnipotent. The wizards are just pawns. As for why the alchemists don't create counters? Perhaps their underpaid and overworked.

Everything must be balanced. If a defender can defend against spells , then the attacker will need something else to offset that advantage.
And if you believe that it's imbalanced now, then that's your opinion. However, you rarely see maxed TH10s give up 3 stars even with 5 spells. I'd say it's fairly close.

Thank you, you just proved the ops point. Everything needs to be balanced, and the ONLY complaint about zapping is that it's unbalanced. It can't be stopped. There is nothing you can do about it at all.

If you think thats balanced, then you really need to look up the word "balanced" in the dictionary.
