Me personally have always been going back and forth from a hybrid base to a trophy base or just a cool design like batman logo the only problem is it takes forever. So why not put preferences or already saved bases that the player had saved so if they ever choose to go back to their old base but can't remember how to make it or there to lazy all they need to do is click a button.
