I'm playing from the top for a few weeks now and this is getting a bit boring, even now that I have my 4100 trophees. As one reaches this level the game is no longer the same. Also note that this is getting different already as you reach the 3600 trophees. In order to have a chance to maintain your trophees level, you have to go for some 6-hours sessions (yes, 6 hours) searching for a valuable (at least 12 trophees available) village. With the help of luck, you might do a +20 trophees accross 2-3 raids (3 really being the max within the 6 hours). Once you are forced to go for a defense, you can expect to loose 15 trophees at least. One doesn't win any defense at this level, the game is yet unbalanced between attack force and defense levels.
In order to get around these unfructfull and boring so long sessions I suggest the following:
- Reduce the sessions length from 6 to 3 hours (all of us will be disconnected more often, creating more opportunities for eveyone to get valuable villages in one's turn). To compensate this a little bit a new 3-days shield would be nice too...
- Shorten the trophees range from +59 (successful attack) / -39 (failed attack) to something like +25 / -25. Coupled with the first measure above this enables attacking more often, being less painful for the defender and rewarding correctly enough successful attacks and defenses (whenever by accident one has the chance to win a defense...)
- And most important... please change the match-making system from the trophees numbers rule to something similar to the clan wars system (defenses, walls, heroes - and so on levels match making) because it is unacceptable to wait for hours before the glass finally fades out to display a village...
