    War Details Missing Already!?

It hasn't even been a week and the war details have already been lost from my clans most recent war. I know that 3 or 4 people did not participate, and now I can't even tell who those people are!!

How am I suppose to lead my clan when I have no information, I think it's ridiculous you don't even keep the details for a week. Especially when no other wars have been started. Please keep them for at least a week.. ideally you should keep them until the next war is started.

I completly agree. Or at least keep the 3 most recent war logs. They seam to disappear really fast and i like to compare my clans stars per raid ratio and i am thinking if doing a future contest with war stats and such. The war logs really help keep the data organized and easily accessible but unfortunately they disappear to quickly. I would love to see a change in the near future about this problem.

Statistics for last war are kept for 6 days in my experience. In my leadership I always take a few minutes the day after a war to put the details in a spreadsheet so I can keep track. Your lack of planning is not SCīs problem in my opinion!

Keeping more statistics online would only bring more lag to servers and require more storage which cost $$ (which players ultimately pay) and Iīm sure nobody wants that!
Just quoted from SC website: Many of us had been big fans of games like World of Warcraft, which most people play for years, not just weeks or months. Our dream was to create game services with longevity like that. And we wanted to create them for the widest group of people possible. They would be games that almost everyone could get into.

Okay #1 it's not bad planning on my part to believe that they would still be there before we started the next war. It's not something I could have foreseen and therefore it's not something I could have planned for. Yes I can do this for the next war, but why do I need a spreadsheet just to play a video game!!! Come on now!

I had no lack of planning, in fact I had a very specific plan. I wasn't going to bother these people that were inactive last war, until the next war was ready to begin.

#2 Storing extra information in a database has absolutely ZERO impact on lag for a game. As for more storage cost.. someone said it stores for 6 days. Do you really think an extra day is going to hike up the prices? I don't think you know much about computers or software if this is your position on the matter.

Why did everyone mindlessly skip over this? War details are removed every time there is a maintenance break.

I never said you need to keep a spreadsheet to play the game. Please read more carefully next time.

So, what youīre implicitly saying is you do plan to bother them after the next war started, so to me that means you do want mopre than to just play a video game, you want to keep track, hence you need a spreadsheet and proper planning.
If it is not in the game sure you can ask the developer to build it in for ya, but untill that is done my suggested way of doing this isnīt that bad. It seems to me you are ignoring that fact!

I used to do this on other games, now I'm lazy as can be.

But I agree with you. With great power comes great responsibility
