Thread: (unit idea) succubus : using enemy units against them.

    (unit idea) succubus : using enemy units against them.

    appearance : purple skin with small devil horns coming out of her forehead, bat wings (possibly) and a devilish tail. she wears tight leather clothes. (no nudity though)

    unit type : ground unit

    health : 60 (lvl1) 75 (lvl2) 80 (lvl3)

    damage : 28 (lvl1) 34 (lvl2) 40 (lvl3)

    range : 3 tiles

    movement speed : 24

    dark elixir cost : 130 (lvl1) 140(lvl2) 150(lvl3)

    space : 10

    behavior : succubus automatically casts a charm spell on an eligible enemy from afar, which causes the target and up to 4 of their comrades who are close to the target to switch sides and fight for the succubus for 20 seconds or until the succubus is killed. charm takes 3 seconds to cast and has a 25 second cooldown.


    charm spell radius : 1.5 blocks.

    maximum units affected by a single charm spell : 5 (target + 4 units)

    heroes, valkyries, witches, skeleton units (wall breaker, balloons, witch skeletons) and golems cannot be charmed, additionally succubi themselves are immune to charm spells so you can't use your succubus to take control of an enemy's. Dragons, along with P.E.K.K.A's have a 25% chance of conversion. archer and mage towers can also be targeted by the succubus, once charmed the units on the tower will start attacking the buildings around them for 15 seconds or until the succubus is slain.

    other than the charm spell, succubus has a ranged attack which deals weak damage.

    usable as :

    1) defense unit : succubus can easily manipulate a careless attacker's army and ruin their offense capabilities.

    2) clan castle takeover : by using a succubus a player can convert the defenders inside a clan castle and add additional units to their army, especially if the defender is holding powerful units like dragons. the attacker can gamble and try to take control of the mighty troops.

    3) sabotage : if used effectively they can disable archer and mage towers. (provided that other defense sites wont take the succubus down.) the attacker can keep the towers busy with barbarians or other units while the succubus casts the spell to take control of the defense base.

    stats : low health and armor but high speed.

    heroes, Valkyries and Golems cannot be charmed. however Dragons, along with P.E.K.K.A's have a 30% chance of conversion. archer and mage towers can also be targeted by the succubus, once charmed the units on the tower will start attacking the buildings around them for 30 seconds or until the succubus is slain.

    This could be cool but....

    Next time please post this in new troops and spells.
    And please pit some real stats instead of low health and armour so we can get a good look at how it is and advise you with how to fix stats

    elixir be happy you didn't lose 700 000 elixir!

    I updated the stats, though I think it probably needs more tweaking. and yeah, you're right, I rushed to write this I guess I should've paid more attention to where I'm supposed to post in.

    like I said, it needs a bit tweaking. I edited the stats today to nerf the unit.

    - cast time is now 3 seconds.

    - range is now 3 tiles (wizard range)

    - health / attack is reduced.

    - house space is now 10 instead of 7.

    - charm duration is now 20 for units and 15 for defense towers, down from 30. additionally the cooldown is reduced to 25.

    - more units are now immune to her charm. dragons and P.E.K.K.A's now have a 25% chance of conversion instead of 30%.
