Thread: Time to rethink dark elixir storage

Maybe there can be 1x1 tiles big lighting rods which can absorb a half of damage from Lighting spell in near (for example) 5 tiles range.

They're also the players who are less hurt by zapping because they have drills to easily get that back in a day, unless they place their TH inside and get zapped multiple times (still waiting on those logs btw). Zapping gives weak players a chance to get revenge against the strong ones who are just farming on those weak players, which isn't exactly a bad thing anyways

If a high level zaps a low level, that's not a bad thing anyways since they probably could have used 4-5 spells to break into the storage and take more. Plus there's the loot penalty

I do think it would make the game better so we'll have to agree to disagree. I don't see how a risk/reward option on the DE storage would take away from any of the things you've mentioned. They could still zap away at all the high level players they like and come away with a generous DE payday. Not everyone would use the option so the really big paydays for zapping would still exist. But for those of us who do, if you want 1000+ elixir you actually have to break through the walls and defenses and come get it

Time to rethink your views on xzapping. Don't get all worked up ahout it, it isn't THAT bad. TH7s don't have much other way to get DE.

I'm using the old rolleyes emoji. I'm happy they added more but... I will always roll my eyes using the emoji that is now called "smirk"

Risk isn't always tied with reward. There's very little risk in attacking inactives but there's high reward there so you should also advocate the removal of inactives if you want risk to be tied with rewards. Besides, on a broader level, there is a risk of carrying lightning instead of rage which would be not to have rage when they're needed.

Assuming you're talking about the option of upgrading to lv7 storage, why should TH9/10 be the ones who get to avoid the zaps when they already have drills that let them recover what they lost quickly? This reduces their risk of losing things when they drop down in trophies to attack the weaker players, not that the amount lost in zapping is a lot anyways

    lightning spells

Maybe lightning spells are so irritating because there's nothing one can do about them. I created another thread in this section with an idea for a new trap: a lighting rod, adsorbing some damage caused by lightning spells. Feel free to say if for you is a good or a bad idea.

No i mean the other option. An option, not unlike an xbow, that if you switch on reduces the effect of lightning but makes the storage more vulnerable to other damage. So if i turn it on the zaps only hit me for half of what they normally would but one blast from a wizard and all the dark is gone. Risk/reward
