GoWiPe troop composition for Town Hall 8...

2 Lvl 1 Golems
2 Lvl 3 Pekkas
5-8 Wallbreaker
Lvl 8 BK
Rest Wizards
3 Rage spells
Whatever I can get in CC

Launch the golems first, a bunch of wizards and a couple WB. Use a rage to help get penetration. Then flood in Pekkas, BK, remaing WB if needed, and remains wizards. Drop rages as needed to move things along if slowed by defenses. CC for clean up if needed.

Wipe isn't really all that effective as a TH8, but if you must lvl 3 pekka's min and try for lvl 2 rocks. Even with lvl 2 golems (max for TH8) they still have the durability of pebbles.

Wipe becomes so much more effective at TH9 as 20 more camp space, another spell (jump is quite awesome), a CC upgrade (you can now hold a max golem), and most importantly, Queenie are huge.

This is pretty much spot on, or maybe 1 heal 2 rage depending.

CC usually a max Pekka or more wiz, or two witches.... whichever you prefer (I usually went max Pekka).

Your main goal is to get into the core asap and wipe the TH, so 3 rage makes it so pretty much nothing will stop you. Just watch for Pekkas and King (as they like to shop alot). Make sure you open up a path so they will go straight into the core, rather than circling around the outside.

Other than that, it's usually a solid 2 as not much is stopping a full on enraged wipe.

For spell go with 2 rage + 1 heal or 3 rage. You don't need to lure the cc with this unless there's 2 witches in the enemy cc, other than that your wizards (and witches if you bring those) will pretty much decimate everything in the cc

This comp is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥edly OP at th8, its not even funny.. You can 2 star maxed th9 no problem at all. And you look badass when you do gowipe at this level

To me, I wouldn't really suggest a GoWiPe army composition at town hall lv8. As an experienced war guy told me, taking GoWiPe at th8 is like taking a .22 for going squirrel hunting. You still get the squirrels(stars) but you would get a higher chance rate of getting the squirrels if you used the shotgun(Hogs or Dragons).
But this is what I used- 2 Golems, 10-15 wizards, 2-3 pekkas, 8-10 wallbreakers also maybe 3 hogs or gaint for cc lure. Spells I took were 2 rage and one heal. Hope it helps! :]

I dont know if concur means yes or no but I've been in quite a few TH8 only clans and been a fully maxed TH8 for a while I find 3 starring another max TH8 a walk in the park be it dragons hogs or gowipe, sometimes even loons get the job done, but all the official TH8 only clans use this gowipe comp majoritarily, 2 golem, 2 pekka, 16 wizards, 10 wb, rest arch I think 6 arch fits in? fuzzy memory, anywaaaaaaaays here's a vid of me 3 starring a max TH8 with that exact gowipe comp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jsk8Vuq86CI (raid starts at around 3min) I only used 2 rage spells, and I didnt drop my CC, but idk maybe pushing and raiding all the TH9s and TH10s buffed my raiding skills lol, in comparison raiding a TH8 is so much easier, the key to gowipe is directing the flow of your golems and pekkas through out the base, so you have to look where defenses are layout of, eg. if all the defenses are along the sides your golems wont possibly go to the core or stay near the middle so your wiz/pekka might die off early because there are no defenses near the core, also wb usage is important but I dont think there's much needed to explained with wb, wb + rage works very well, use it to send troops to the core, Gowipe is very effective at TH8 you just have to know how to use it, I think all the people who couldnt 3 star with it at TH8 need to go back and try again because its very good if used correctly, I think TH10s and TH9s forgot how to raid because they get such OP troops and cc troops n spells and stuff at their level, esp the AQ

I get what you're saying but in reality, a .22 is better than a shotgun for squirrel hunting. A .22 might be harder to shoot them with but a shotgun would just be overkill.
