New update idea!

I'm not 100% sure how to word this but I hope I get the message through.
Recently I've been struggling in finding an army composition that suits my liking. So my update proposal is to make a "practice" mode, where you click on the "practice" button ( which could be a button after you click on attack) and it generates a randomized town for you based on your level/town hall and it gives you however many spaces you have in your army camps to put whatever troops you want in there without the worry of wasting elixer on a failed attack.

That's fantastic news! I just can't stand wasting 200k+ elixer on a test!

Although it would be incredibly difficult to successfully randomly generate maps... If you play BB, think of those Dr. Terror levels where half the defenses are on the opposite side of the map as the HQ. Without an incredibly intelligent base-creating algorithm, this would just end up like that...

That's a good point! There are a couple solutions I think to it though; If Supercell took the time to make 1000's of towns for each skill level and everytim you clicked practice it would give you one of them. Or, you can make your own practice town.

Making your own town wouldn't work; people would create enemy war bases to practice until they can 100%
The pre-made base option could work, albeit a hassle to set up.

Although a good base-making algorithm could be amazing, if Supercell wants to spend the effort to try to make one.

That's a good point you raise about the creating your own town. I agree, my favorite solution is the random base generator.

Sorry to disappoint, but the claim that it is already in the works in a lie
