Description: An upgrade that can be available to any storage starting at a certain storage level that reduces the effect of lightning(Primarily suggested for Dark Elixir storages).

Appearance: Some minor change to existing storage appearances.

Ability: Once constructed reduces loot gained through lightning strikes by 50%(or some x%).


This is a proposed solution to the Dark Elixir being zapped by lightning problem. I personally don't like the "lightning rod" solutions which are everywhere. I think these hurt the useful lightning spell, create a building that is too specialized in function, and are just overkill. I also don't like the concept of just reducing or nerfing the lightning spells ability to get loot out of collectors.

Suggested Example:
Required Level: Town Hall 9, with level 4 Dark Elixir collectors.
Cost: 4,000,000 elixir
Time: 7 days
Ability: reduces loot gained from lightning strikes by 50%.

I think this idea mitigates the power of dark elixir zapping but keeps the game mechanics without changing the spells, and doesn't introduce a new building.
