    Lightbulb No time limit

I think that the time limit while attacking another person should be gone away with or increased because many times my friends and myself run out of time because we like to use giants to destroy all of the defenses and then send in reinforcements to destroy everything else. Running out of time has especially been more prominent now that we are higher levels and the walls slow us down tremendously. That is why I think the time limit should be gone away with or at least increase to 3 1/2 minutes.

Giants would be over powered for their cost/train time if there was unlimited time. Part of the strategy aspect is being able to attack efficiently and quickly. Besides, if there was unlimited time, how would people log back on while someone is attacking their base and intentionally sits around for tens of minutes?

That is a good point on the indefinitely part but I still think that the time should be increased a little bit because as you get higher level the bases get much bigger requiring more time to attack everything.

    The time won't change.

Otherwise we'll have double the loot thread problems with all these threads complaining about the time.

I wouldn't say no time limit, but it definitely needs to be extended to 5 minutes or something like that.

Personally I think 3 minutes is fine. You just need to attack efficiently.

3 minutes is more than enough time to wipe out a base. If you keep going over the time limit then you need to refine your attacking strategy.

Using gowipe, one can wipe out a lot of TH8s in 2 minutes and TH9s in less than 3 minutes. In our last war, our top players were able to 3-star some good TH9s and 10s using gowiwi, gowipe, or balloonion.

The time limit should remain 3 minutes because a) there are already effective troop strategies that can destroy a TH9 in 3 minutes, b) you don't need to 3-star a base to get all the loot, c) the goal is to strike a balance so that a defenders have at least a chance to protect part of their bases, and d) no one would want to watch a 5 minute replay.

I voted 'sometimes' because it does happen to me. But that's my failing, not the game's. I am working on my playing strategy and getting better.

I'd like to see a spell that would extend battle time by 10 sec at level 1, up to 30 at level 5.
