It would be your fault not to remove your gem box
Uh no it would not. How low are your upgrades? When you have longer upgrades, you cant free up a builder to collect your gem box. And inactive bases? You could squat in bronze and steal gem boxes from everyone there. This woukd DESTROY the game. No more strategies, everyone would just be gem box sniping.
Sc was kind enough to even add gem boxes, now you want them all? Greedy.

Not being active enough isn't the main issue, it is mainly SC's profit.
Most of their profit comes from people buying gems, if we were able to farm gem boxes then they would lose that profit and nobody would buy gems. They are a business, therefore that profit is very important.
Just be thankful you could even get those gems from your own gem boxes to begin with.

your right only cuz its there profit it would mess with but lik i said it was a suggestion.and luck dont got nun to with it.its supercells job to keep us interested with the game
Dude at higher levels, upgrades take longer, and in the time you are upgrading, you have no open slots to rid gem boxes. It would just be unfair if a gem box appeared and you cant get it, then some players steals it from you, has nothing to do with being active.
