    Hello fellow Clashers,

as the title says, the idea is to implement a reputation system, allowing clans to avoid trolls etc. before they even join.
A player's reputation will be displayed in his (or her) profile, publically available to everyone. However, only clanmates can increase or decrease his rep. Example: The player Clashforlife joins a clan, but doesn't donate, behaves asocial and doesn't use attacks. His clanmates can now go to his profile and click on one of two buttons, one showing a arrow pointing upwards, the other one a down-pointing arrow. If his current rep. is 10 and somebody votes for him, it increases to 11. If he votes against him, it goes down to 9. By tapping the chosen button again, it will be undone, causing the rep to go back to 10. Once he leaves the clan or gets kicked out, votes can't be changed or taken back.
However, from the second he leaves or gets kicked, his former clanmates should be able to vote up or down or take votes back for, let's say, 2h. That way also hoppers can get a bad rep (you won't know if someones is a hopper until he leaves :/). I don't know if this would be complicated, so i rather think it's optional. I'd like it pretty much, though
Clans will also be able to set a minimum rep limit, e.g. open clans can set it to 0 so players with a bad rep can't join.
Well, I guess that's enough to give you a basic idea. If I forgot something, tell me and I'll add it

I can just picture some high level players getting a low level to join their clan. They all give home a down arrow and kick him out. What does he do now? He has such a bad reputation just because he wanted to be in a clan! I say no. Period.

This idea might be abused. Players could press to higher and lower a players reputation for no reason. Also, I don't think there should be anything negative done to players who don't donate or attack, ect. They might have a good reason for not donation and attacking. If you don't want them in your clan, just kick them out.

I think something like this would be a useful tool in bringing new members into a clan. X-Box 360 uses a 5 star reputation system and while its not a perfect idea, it does give an indication of what to expect from a player. The problem is, as some have stated, if someone joins a clan with 49 people and leaves. Then you have potentially 49 people giving that player negative marks. It would have to be limited to only leaders providing the feedback for it to be a fair system, in my opinion. Maybe a message to the leader saying "so and so has left the clan" with three options for feedback, positive, negative, or none.

ok, i admit it could be easily abused. probably it should actually be only available for leaders, maybe also co-leaders.

something i forgot: players should get a message if somebody votes for or against them, similar to when they receive donations.
and concerning down votes because of not donating, not using cw attacks etc. ... many clans request minimum donation levels per season or want their players to attack. if u don't stick to the rules, it should have consequences - and not only that you get kicked and continue in another clan.
