Hello fellow Clashers,
as the title says, the idea is to implement a reputation system, allowing clans to avoid trolls etc. before they even join.
A player's reputation will be displayed in his (or her) profile, publically available to everyone. However, only clanmates can increase or decrease his rep. Example: The player Clashforlife joins a clan, but doesn't donate, behaves asocial and doesn't use attacks. His clanmates can now go to his profile and click on one of two buttons, one showing a arrow pointing upwards, the other one a down-pointing arrow. If his current rep. is 10 and somebody votes for him, it increases to 11. If he votes against him, it goes down to 9. By tapping the chosen button again, it will be undone, causing the rep to go back to 10. Once he leaves the clan or gets kicked out, votes can't be changed or taken back.
However, from the second he leaves or gets kicked, his former clanmates should be able to vote up or down or take votes back for, let's say, 2h. That way also hoppers can get a bad rep (you won't know if someones is a hopper until he leaves :/). I don't know if this would be complicated, so i rather think it's optional. I'd like it pretty much, though
Clans will also be able to set a minimum rep limit, e.g. open clans can set it to 0 so players with a bad rep can't join.
Well, I guess that's enough to give you a basic idea. If I forgot something, tell me and I'll add it
