When doing GoWiVa at TH8, How do you deal with a max dragon (level 5) in the enemy CC? Most TH8s have them in their CC in clan wars.

Use a cc with either 2 witches and drop some wiz or 1 witch 3 wiz and an archer.

Hey guys, I think i need some tipps.
Pre-Update everything was fine. I (then TH8) choose a nice base in CW, build my army (mostly GoVaPe) and in 90% of the attacks i 3-stared them. No need to lure, just rage the valks and the kill the whole CC-troops in one swing
But after the update, as you know, nearly everyone has a drag in their CC and i dont know how to deal with it.
I tried a lot to manage it but nothing worked for me:
I lured drag in a corner, kill it, in the end run out of time and end with a 2 star.
I dont lured, start full attack and hoped the funnel-wiz will kill it "on their way". dont work at all, with luck maybe 1 star.
I place golem to lure and tank for the wiz, then place the wiz to kill, but then to golems loose to much health and will die when the hit the core. then all the other troops are killed and i end with 2 stars.
I lure them with an archer and try to kill it near the base to save up some time. drag goes down, but wiz are also down, due to fire of defence. have no troops to funnel, valks run around the base and i end with 1 star.

Can someone please tell me how to deal with this dirty drags, or even better, post a vid or two of some attacks?

Hi mate,
If you record your war raids probably we can see how your way to attack then we can start discuss. But, if you lure, you have to lure to side where you gonna start your attack.

If you not lure, you have to make sure cc enemy locked onto golems, then placed wiz behind golems and rage.

Have only heard bad things about Valk, until this thread. You guys make them sound like there fun to use. Getting them in five days, hoping they fit into my farming army. Which is
16 Giants
2 Healers
8 Wall Breakers
4 Wiz
36 Barbs
24 Arch
Will be taking fewer barbs once i get valk

You can reduce giant by 12, 4-6 valk, 4-8 wiz, 2-4 healer, 6-8 wb, rest BArch. Happy try... =D
