We have the ocean and we have this little gap in the forest. I think we should add bases there. When you are at your ocean base, for example, you only get to use the troops you have from your ocean base. Consider it a neighbor settlement. This means, that mainland troops become useless when attacking ocean bases because all the ocean troops need water, and land troops need air. If land troops are deployed in the ocean, instant death. The same goes for ocean troops, land = death. Does that make sense? I'll explain more of my thoughts down below.
Ocean Troops
I think that the troops should have the same principles as the land troops. So you've got water barracks. The first troop is a fish. It works a lot like a barbarian, except for underwater. You could probably even do the same design.
Then you have some sort of ranged troop. The third troop is the goblin, so think of a fish that sneaks around. Basically all the troops are waterized.
Ocean Loot
This is probably my favorite part, the loot. For money use sand dollars. You would collect them like a mine, but instead of getting gold from beneath the earth, you get sand. For every minute, at level 1, you get 50 sand. However, because you can't just magically get sand dollars, you have to wait another minute for the sand to compact to get 15 sand dollars. So basically every two minutes you get 15 sand dollars.
In exchange of elixer, you can use seaweed. It's the same principle, for every minute, again at level 1, you get 50 seaweed. But that's for it to grow, then another 30 seconds for it to be cut and mushed into paste. So I'll put that at 35ish seaweed paste per minute. Give or take.
Again, does this make sense? I'm probably not very good at explaining this, but....Oh well. It might get published anyway.
Spells
I'm not even sure if there would be spells, but if there are it could be like typhoons instead of lightning.
This is the basic idea, I'll expand as I think more about it. Thanks!
